Last year around this time, we were busy getting ready for our big New Years Eve party. Who would have guessed back then what the new year would bring. There will be no party this year. I'm a bit bummed out but still keeping it strong as there are tons of projects and things to do and plan for, to get ready for the mid and tail end of 2021.
This year will also be my first full winter in Washington. Having sold the San Diego house, there is no warm vacation home to retreat to, and I'm all in at PURR.
For the next three months until the end of March, PURR is going into hibernation mode for winter, with no events or gatherings planned, including member's weeks. Covid restrictions play a big part in our inactivity as well. Construction will be slowly purring along either by myself, or in very small work parties when the state eases Covid restrictions.
However we are still opened for individual camping experiences. My goal is to set up the PURRADOME by the end of January to have it available, by reservation, for individual and couple's retreats.
With all the mishaps of 2020, I'm definitely looking forward to 2021. Whatever comes, I wish you all good health, hope, gratitude, and a good reset this holiday season and in the new year. Lots of love from PURR to our members and everyone in our community!
